RN-BSN Online Degree Program
The Online RN-to-BSN program is designed especially for registered nurses (RNs)
who want to further their education and advance their career by earning a bachelor's
degree in nursing (BSN). The program can be completed within 12 months and consists
of eight courses.
The School of Nursing emphasizes self-care nursing concepts and the human care process
in professional nursing. The school prepares its graduates to incorporate knowledge
of nursing theory, physical sciences, behavioral sciences, and humanities in clinical
nursing practice.
National licensure exam pass rates for SUSON graduates have been above the national
average for ten of the last twelve years.
Graduates of the school provide professional nursing care in the role of learner,
communicator, teacher, client, advocate, health care provider, counselor, change
agent, and leader. They also collaborate with other health care professionals involved
in the promotion of health and well being of individuals, families, groups, and
communities. Nursing graduates are expected to practice in an ethical manner with
accountability to self, the client, and the profession.
Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education
If you love children and working with them is your career choice, then a Bachelors
Degree in Early Childhood Education is the program for you. Completing a Bachelors
Degree in Early Childhood Education will prepare you to positively influence the
children in your care. The industry is growing and the demand is expected to grow
for professionals with qualifications for working with children.
The Early Childhood Education Program prepares teachers for early childhood PK-3
grades. This program provides the candidates with the basic knowledge and understanding
of young children, their development, and how to help them become academically successful.
This education forms the academic framework, which guides developmentally appropriate
practices in early childhood settings. Emphasis is placed on responding to the developmental
and cultural uniqueness of each child as students in the program learn to design,
implement, and evaluate curricular activities and learning environments.
Students will learn how to:
- Apply research-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Assess programming and instructional strategies
- Incorporate brain development, multi-cultural and anti-bias practices
- Build relationships with families and communities

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

a unique degree, fully online, that provides students flexibility to customize their
degrees in an academic program by selecting areas of concentration and minors that
combine basic skills with specific areas of study. The program provides students
with an enhanced, comprehensive, and broad-based liberal education that offers majors
the flexibility to adapt and combine courses from traditional and non-traditional
academic disciplines to fit their unique career plans and interests.
By enrolling in the General Studies Program, students may pursue a Bachelor of General
Studies Degree that consists of a science or non-science concentration in the following
